Our Story
Manuel Serrano, born in Barcelona to Andalusian migrants, is the founder and CEO of Green Cloud Gulf. A younger brother of two sisters and father of two sons, Manuel combines his entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for endurance sports—formerly triathlons and marathons, now open-water swimming. He arrived in the UAE 14 years ago to lead a sales and distribution project, and inspired by the region’s hospitality opportunities, he launched his own venture. Nearly a decade ago, he founded GCG, bringing premium chemicals and laundry solutions to hotels, restaurants, and laundries across the UAE, with sustainability, efficiency, and excellence at the heart of the company.
